1.Find the center of the cutting area by drawing a line across the width and length of the machine. The center of this area will give you the center of the machine.
2 .Place the laser on the machine and turn it on. The laser should be in a focusable position so that you can adjust it to fit your needs while you are leveling it.
3 .Place a piece of paper or cardboard on your work surface. Adjust the laser so that is points at or near the center if this material and mark its location with a pen or marker.
4.Move the laser to one side of your material, making sure that it is still pointing at or near its original mark, and tilt it until it makes a small dot on your work surface. Repeat this process for each side of your cutting surface until you have four dots in total: one for each corner of your box-shaped cutting surface. If you have a sheet metal cutting table, adjust your laser to make two dots near opposite corners of its surface instead of four dots around a square cutting area.
5.Go to each corner and adjust it so that the laser is directly over its corresponding dot without touching it in any way.
